Lighting Standards and White Papers

ATLA S001 and ATLA S001-A are provided, free of charge, to any person or organization interested in adopting them as standards or developing derivative works for new standards, subject to the license for each standard.

In 2016, SunTracker Technologies began development of a lighting industry standard to supersede photometric data standards such as ANSI/IES LM-63 and EULUMDAT that were developed in the 1980s. The goal was to support today’s lighting design requirements for architectural, horticultural, germicidal, infrared, and future lighting applications.

INTERPRETATION NOTICES

As with any standard, there will be questions regarding the interpretation of various clauses. In this regard, the Illuminating Engineering Society defers to the All Things Lighting® Association for the interpretation of ANSI/IES TM-33-18. UNI, on the other hand, has elected to issue its own errata (in Italian).
